Biome Active Face Oil delivers high performance Vitamin C in two stable forms including 12% THD Ascorbate crafted in Japan and our exclusive Bio-Fermented Kakadu Plum (Gubinge), containing the richest Vitamin C content of any fruit in the world and amplified through in-house probiotic fermentation.
This nutrient-rich facial oil also features a potent concentration of botanical retinol (Vitamin A) and carotenoids found naturally in Cacay and Buriti to promote cell regeneration and renewal.
New to this updated formulation is Astaxanthin, derived from microalgae and is one of natures most powerful antioxidants, crucial in defending against free radical damage. WHY WE LOVE VITAMIN C
When our skin is over-exposed to environmental stressors such as UV rays and pollution, free radicals trigger the breakdown of our skins collagen, resulting in premature ageing in the form of fine lines and wrinkles, sagging, dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant with free-radical scavenging properties working to prevent oxidative stress and future damage to our skin. Vitamin C also triggers the formation of fibroblasts in the skin which promotes natural collagen production, providing strength & structure.

Although there are many forms of Vitamin C, we prefer to use THD ascorbate as it provides several advantages over L-ascorbic acid, including increased stability, better skin penetration, reduced irritation, a neutral pH, longer-lasting effects, enhanced collagen production and better compatibility with other skincare ingredients.

Also known as Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, it is exceptionally stable - penetrating the skin up to 3x more efficiently and up to 50% more effective in stimulating collagen production compared to traditional Vitamin C. It remains active on the skin up to 40hrs after application.
Increasing the percentage beyond this threshold does not enhance results significantly - but increases the risk of unnecessary irritation, especially for sensitive skin.

HOW TO APPLY
Suitable for daily use in the morning and evening after cleansing. For optimal results, prepare the skin with Strength & Recovery Bio-Serum™.
1. Place 2-3 drops of Biome Active Face Oil™ in the palm of your hand.
2. Warm the oil in your hands then gently smooth and press into the face, neck and chest.
If applying during the day, allow a moment for absorption before make-up or SPF.
Long-lasting skin health and a radiant complexion via topical application is best achieved through prevention and consistency. Optimal results will be seen after 3 months.

Renew and Repair: Wild-harvested and ethically sourced from local growers in the Brazil, Cacay and Buriti contain high concentrations of Omega 3, 6 & 9 and naturally occurring Pro-Vitamin A (retinol precursor) to increase cell turnover and improve skin tone and texture.
Antioxidant Protection: Prickly Pear Seed Oil, Blueberry Seed Oil and Strawberry Seed Oil contain natural ceramides, antioxidants and provide essential moisture to the skin, contributing radiant skin. SPF sunscreen has been shown to only block up to 55% of free radicals produced by UVA exposure. Studies have shown topical application of 10% Vitamin C to decrease the number of sunburn cells by 40-60%.
Moisturising: Oat Kernel Oil and Lecithin helps to seal in moisture and prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL) for a dewy, healthy complexion.
Formulation Stability: Sunflower Seed Oil and Tocopherol (Vitamin E) provide broad spectrum protection against oxidation and extend the shelf-life of the product.

Biome Active Face Oil is designed to work synergistically with the skin's natural structure. The skin's outer layer (stratum corneum) - holds three key types of lipids: ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. These lipids are integral to supporting the skins ability to retain moisture, protect from environmental pollutants and maintain resilience.
Biome Active Face Oil works to enhance the stratum corneum by mimicking and replenishing the omega fatty acids, ceramides and aminos. The treatment oil includes a carefully analysed selection of the finest nutrient-rich seed and nut oils to supply the optimal ratio of critical lipids, aiding in the regeneration of healthy cells and re-enforcing the skin's protective barrier. The result is a face oil that has a texture that feels like the natural sebum produced by your skin.
THD Ascorbate is one of the most effective and expensive forms of Vitamin C. We source ours from Japan for its 100% purity and performance. As it is fat soluble, this biomimetic structure allows the active to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. It's important to note that higher percentages won’t improve results - but they can upset your skin’s barrier, causing unnecessary irritation. More isn’t always better.
The biotransformation of wildcrafted Gubinge (Kakadu Plum) using probiotics can improve many of its characteristics and releases nutritional benefits, which is well documented in a range of studies. This process also produces postbiotics, which encompass beneficial compounds that support the skin's natural barrier.

I first started with the serum and found it worked beautifully for my reactive skin. I have now started using the oil am I am seriously impressed! I’m not much of an “oil person” as I don’t like the way they sit on top of my skin. But, this one absorbed just as a moisturiser would and left no tacky feeling. I also didn’t get the slightest bit of irritation which is rare for me as I suffer from multiple skin issues. I am now loving the results and will continue to use.

Poets Atelier face oil is a beautiful product that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourished.
After using the product for one month, the results are unmatched from other oils I’ve tried. I have eudermic skin, and this oil continues to balance my sebum levels so my skin is neither too oily nor too dry. It’s now a prime product to my hydration routine.
Smooth and lightweight in texture that quickly absorbs, it’s a treat every time I apply morning and night, gifting me with extremely supple skin and a long lasting glow.
What makes this product special is that all ingredients are ethically sourced in their most potent form to maximise results. I’ve really noticed my skin is softer after use.
It’s a massive bonus the range is pregnancy safe, which means I can continue to apply when I’m pregnant.

My skin has been having a rough time this pregnancy, so the recommendation to try Poet’s Atelier’s face oil could not have come at a better time. The beautiful bottle and its smooth texture alone makes applying it a little special moment in my mornings and evenings. The oil feels incredibly soft and hydrating, has a radiant light glow to it and absorbs quickly, without giving off a strong fragrance. My skin feels soft all day and has already started to look better. I’m impressed with the clear deliberate thought and expertise that went into its creation, and lovee the fact the ingredients have been ethically sourced. Plan on trying the serum soon too!
