Strength & Recovery Bio-Serum is an ultra-lightweight treatment serum designed to soothe, brighten and restore balance to stressed skin. Formulated with patented biotech actives and probiotic bio-ferments, this multi-beneficial serum helps visibly improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, redness and post inflammatory discolouration by targeting multiple pathways associated with uneven skin tone.
Unlike conventional botanical extracts, our Green Tea, Pomegranate, Licorice Root and Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) undergo a probiotic fermentation process that helps optimise their skin compatibility and unlock a broader spectrum of beneficial compounds exclusive to the formulation.

- Bio-Fermented Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola): Regenerative, wound-healing, skin-soothing, anti-blemish. Fermentation increases the concentration of triterpenoids and madecassoside, enhancing skin repair.
- Bio-Fermented Green Tea: Contains antioxidants that fight the effects of pollution and oxidative stress on the skin. Reduces the signs of sun damage such as hyperpigmentation. Fermentation amplifies anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties to soothe irritated skin.
- Bio-Fermented Pomegranate: Fermented pomegranate contains higher levels of polyphenols and alpha-punicic acid (omega 5), found exclusively in pomegranate seed to stimulate the skin's self-repair mechanisms. Pomegranate enzymes provide gentle exfoliation.
- Bio-Fermented Licorice Root: Skin-brightening & anti-inflammatory. Fermented Licorice Root enhances its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation and even out skin tone by inhibiting tyrosinase activity.
- Diglucosyl Gallic Acid: This patented biotech molecule is a new generation antioxidant that is activated by the skin microbiome. It simultaneously targets 7 biological pathways to address the major causes of redness, pigmentation & discolouration. In a study, DGA was able to provide 4 times as much protection as vitamin C, the skin is up to 16 times lighter, has 150% less melanin, 18 times fewer UV spots.
- Inulin: A prebiotic, works to nourish the beneficial microbes on the skin. Acts as a booster for the effect of the Diglucosyl Gallic Acid which relies on microbiota for conversion
- 4% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Improves skin tone and texture, anti-acne, stimulates production of ceramides in skin. 3-5% is the optimal concentration and clinically studied for desired effects, any higher can cause inflammation without additional benefits

Application
Use twice daily, morning and evening on dry, clean skin. If layering skincare, we recommend applying underneath face cream and face oil.
1. On clean skin, apply 2-3 pumps of the serum into the palms of your hand.
2. Gently smooth and pat onto the face, neck and chest.
Follow with Cell Energy Peptide Concentrate and Biome Active Face Oil for optimal results.

In understanding the structure of the skin, this serum uses a hydration process that helps to restore and balance the water content within skin cells and the surrounding lipids to its deepest layers.
We have used humectants and lipids that reduce the risk of dehydration and increase the skins natural moisturising factor. Orange Blossom and Chamomile Flower water are rich in flavonoids, terpenoids and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to calm skin and soothe irritation.
Extracted from soy beans, Polyglutamic Acid is a biotech peptide that acts as a powerful hydrator that forms a water-locking film over the skin. It can hold up to 4 x more moisture than hyaluronic acid.
Saccharide Isomerate is a plant derived, biotech marine extract, providing up to 72hrs hydration and restoration of skin barrier function. Unlike topical hyaluronic acid, it can’t be easily washed away.

FERMENTATION & DELIVERY SYSTEM
Our team of biochemists and scientists feed our plant extracts to strain-specific bacteria in a transformation process that allows us to create our own probiotic ferments, unique to our products with maximum bioactive compounds.
Enhanced Bioavailability: Bio-fermentation breaks down the complex molecules in plant extracts into smaller, more bioavailable forms. This process makes the active ingredients more easily absorbed and utilised by the skin, enhancing their efficacy.
Increased Potency: Probiotic fermentation can increase the concentration of beneficial compounds such as antioxidants, amino acids, and vitamins in the plant extracts. These compounds can have more potent effects on the skin, such as reducing inflammation, promoting collagen production, and protecting against environmental damage.

This bottle goes a long way. I’ve just finished my first bottle and can say it definitely delivers on all fronts - brightening, hydrating, barrier supporting (especially in winter where my skin gets so uncomfortably dry).

my facialist talked me into giving this product a go (because it is on the spenny side) but she made a lot of really compelling points, especially that its 50ml versus the usual 30ml which means you really get to see how good the product is because it lasts so much longer. have been complimented that my skin looks much clearer/ less congested/ and more "glowing" (whatever that means lol). it has NO STICKINESS (a pet peeve), sinks in immediately, and hydrates my dehydrated skin leaving it v soft. here's to Poets Atelier! Love this product! After using the face oil with the bio-serum my skin is absolutely glowing and so soft. It’s evened out my skin texture and replaced all the products in my skin routine. I now only need these two products making it so easy to consistently stick to a routine.

Love! This serum has been a welcome addition to my skincare routine. It is lightweight and completely soaks in without any stickiness left behind. I apply this in the morning then follow directly with sunscreen and the two work perfectly together. It hydrates my dehydrated sensitive skin and feels comforting. Also, love the luxurious weighted glass bottle!

I’ve only been using this product for a little while now, but I’ve already noticed an improvement in both my active acne and marks from old spots. I have problematic skin (that can go from pretty decent to quite bad over the course of my cycle). I was drawn to the product in the hope it would help heal my microbiome to give me a bit of consistency and generally improved skin tone and texture. I really like that the serum replaces a few products in my lineup - it also goes on beautifully under skincare & makeup, whilst feeling really luxurious. I’m now really excited to keep using it to see what my results are over the long term!
